Lake Wissota Guide Service
I offer fully guided and outfitted walleye and smallmouth bass fishing trips on Lake Wissota, located near Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, as well as other regional waters. These trips are best suited for two anglers, although larger groups can also be accommodated.

My guide trips are designed to teach you how to fish Lake Wissota. We'll discuss seasonal migrations and patterns, fish locations, and effective presentations through the seasons. At the end of your trip, you will be prepared to tap into the lake's bounty and explore the lake with confidence.

I am a State of Wisconsin licensed guide, and carry full commercial insurance for your protection.

Seasonal targets
At the opening of the inland fishing season, our primary catches are walleye and crappie, with a smattering of northern pike and jumbo pre-spawn channel catfish. Once July rolls around, our smallmouth bass catches increase. As summer marches into fall, we enjoy excellent catches of both walleye and smallmouth. Fall catches include mostly walleye, some crappie, and the biggest bass of the season. "Accidental" musky are a constant presence.

Equipment
My clients and I use only the highest quality, most reliable equipment during guide trips, from boat and motors to rods and reels. We fish from a 2008 Ranger Angler 1860 powered by Suzuki. My boat is equipped with all necessary safety equipment and carries a VHF radio and a cell phone for on-the-water communication.
